As far back as I can remember, I have always been fascinated with the different aspects of glass. I love the movement in a sheet of art glass, as well as, that in hot molten glass. I have worked in the stained glass industry for more than 35 years, owning and operating a full stained glass studio. I organized and formed the Association of stained Glass Lamp Artists, Northeast in 1993 and served as its President until 2007. ASGLA,NE is a non-profit organization formed for "the education, perpetuation, improvement and the promotion of the art and craft of stained glass".

I first became interested in lampwork beads in the mid 90's after watching Cindy Jenkins do a demo at one of our stained glass conventions. I've also studied under Liliana Glenn from 2003 thru 2008 and Nancy Tobey in 2007. Everyday working with glass is an exciting learning experience. For the past few years I've been able to really enjoy refining my skills and techniques. It's so interesting watching the glass move and the wonderful effects that it sometimes makes just putting colors together.

Whether it be a wonderful stained glass window panel, a Tiffany reproduction lampshade or a small lampwork bead, the real reward is when someone else loves what you've made as much as you do.
